The Kākāpō

There are only 201 kākāpō alive today. The species faces major challenges due to infertility and inbreeding.

The Kea
The Kea

There are only a few thousand wild kea alive today. The species face challenges from persecution and predation. The kea is a Nationally Endangered species.

Tasman Parakeet

There are only 300-450 Tasman parakeets remaining in the wild. The population only exists at the Mount Pitt section of the Norfolk Island National Park, Australia
